Creative Community Building through Cross-Sector Collaboration

Creative Community Building through Cross-Sector Collaboration

Creative Community Building through Cross-Sector Collaboration is a study of collaborative practices among culture, education, community development, youth, health and social services in Europe. The initiative aims to describe and analyse the complex picture emerging, as reflected in a shift towards policies that combine social and cultural objectives, and stimulate new forms of multidisciplinary practice.

The study was conducted by the Centre for Creative Communities (CCC) in collaboration with the MELINA Project, Greece. Here in our Mapping Room (see navigation on the right) you can read our findings and many related case studies and focus group discussions. The report can be accessed chapter by chapter or downloaded in full as PDF (944KB). There is also a literature list to help guide you to more material on culture working with other sectors. We welcome any comments or examples of cross-sector policies or practice that you might have.

The final report has been published as a book in collaboration with the Greek Government and is available from our BOOKSHOP.
