Library & Resource Centre

CCC's Library & Resource Centre holds extensive information on policy, theory and practice that surrounds and supports collaborative local community-development, especially that with explicit links to culture. It contains over 3000 titles on the subject of arts and education, arts and health, community development and urban regeneration. Besides British, American and European texts, a section of the library is exclusively dedicated to reports, case studies and literature published by a wide range of cultural organisations at a regional, national and international level, which provides users with an up-to-date overview of any developments currently taking place in the fields of cultural policy, arts and education, urban renewal and community development.

In addition, the library regularly receives a number of periodicals, newsletters and magazines making it an invaluable reference and research source for practitioners and policy makers. Many of the resources are also available in some form on this website.

The library can be visited by appointment on Monday - Thursday, between 10am and 4pm. While use of the facilities is free, there is a charge of 10p per page for photocopies. For further information or to make an appointment, please email info@creativecommunities.org.uk or telephone us on +44 (0) 20 7247 5385.
